Releasing my prospect rankings after the NFL Draft sure is a bold move, huh? The truth is I have been extremely busy with school/life. I finished my rankings and my only mock draft the night before the 2022 NFL Draft, but I simply didn’t have time to publish an article I was proud of that included them. I’m releasing them now for a couple of reasons:
First, the NFL Draft, prospect rankings, and mock drafts are what made me want to start this website, so I want to share those with my audience. Second, I want to explain how I make my draft board to hopefully inspire others to make draft boards of their own. Third, releasing my Position Rankings and Top 120 will provide context to some of my upcoming articles. Lastly, and not leastly, I want my rankings and projections to be set in stone. I want to be able to look back in the coming years and see where I had guys ranked. There’s always gems and busts in the draft, and I love looking back and seeing where I had certain players ranked.
Here is the link to a Google Sheet with Position Rankings and Top 120 players (in different tabs). I personally prefer Microsoft Excel, but this is the easiest way to get a viewer-friendly version of my rankings to all of you beautiful people! There’s a couple of things that might be confusing so I’m going to go through and break it down:
For the most part, the labels are self-explanatory, but here’s what some of the abbreviations stand for:
Ovr – Overall Ranking (only used for the Top 120 players)
Rank – Position Ranking
A – Age of Prospect at time of NFL Draft
There’s also a column included under Rank, but next to the actual ranking number. That column is used for certain symbols that mean certain things:
* – An asterisk means that the player has injury concerns or suffered a major injury in college.
| – A vertical line means the player has character concerns, most likely because of a team dismissal or concerning arrest.
\ – In the unique case of WR George Pickens, a backslash means both injury and character concerns.
Now, let me explain the spacing of the cells. A blank row is used to separate different tiers of prospects. These don’t have a defined meaning, such as separating 1st and 2nd round players. Instead, it just distinguishes tiers of players, with all of the players in a given tier being relatively close to each other in ranking. If two rows separate players, the players above the two rows are the final players of that position with at least a 3rd round grade.
Another important note is that this is *NOT* a complete horizontal draft board. Prospects of different position that happen to be in the same row are *NOT* equal. This is evidenced by looking at WRs Jahan Dotson through Khalil Shakir. Six prospects making up 3 different tiers are all ranked higher than TE Greg Dulcich. So even though players may be physically lower on the board, that is only because there are more players at that position and is not a representation of value.
The “Top 120” tab is a bit more straightforward. There are three columns of players. Players in the 1st column have 1st round grades, 2nd column have 2nd round grades, and 3rd column have 3rd round grades. The list goes in numerical order going down, and once you reach the end of the 1st column you start again at the top of the 2nd, and the same goes for the end of the 2nd/top of the 3rd.
Alright, was that confusing and wordy enough? Good. Let’s move on to the actual rankings. Again, you’ll see me utilize my tier system. I’ll also only be using Name and College in the lists to keep it from getting too jumbled with info.

Why rank only 120 players? I only rank prospects with 3rd round grades or better. I could have included another tier of 3rd round players, but I only wanted to include players that I thought were firmly 3rd round or better. I counted and I have 65 players as fringe 3rd rounders that I could have included, but that would have made the list way too long, in my opinion.
Who do I have ranked too high? Too low? Let me know in the comments below!
